The
Gulf Coast Section Society of Economic Paleontologists and Mineralogists
Foundation Annual Research Conference Series was initiated in 1980 for
the purpose of providing a forum for the timely presentation of current
research on topics of particular interest to exploration and production
geologists working in the Gulf Coast area. The format of these conferences
provides a free exchange of ideas and information on selected topics and
encourages further research into these areas. Conference participants
represent industry, academia and varied research groups, both public and
private, and include many scientists from outside the Gulf Coast area.
For
information on ordering copies of the program, abstracts, and papers of
previous conferences, check out our Publications
page.
