Abstract The Gulf of Mexico has been a center of deepwater exploration and development activity since the early 1980's. Technological developments have been key to the strong reserve and production growth levels experienced today. This presentation explores the status of today's deepwater activities and assesses the subsurface concepts and development technologies needed to successfully explore and develop deepwater reservoirs. |
